Bali’s resort areas in a few words...and photos of course! :)

Kuta is a place where you can find all kinds of accommodation and activities. It is the most popular place among travelers. There are budget hotels as well as luxurious villas especially in Legian Beach. It has a vivid nightlife and overcrowded beaches. Some well known hotels in Kuta are Oberoi Bali hotel  and Bali Prime Villas.

Sanur is a quiet place suitable for families and people who don’t want so much noise and wildness. It is well established area with nice sandy beach. In Sanur you can find Bali Hyatt, Sanur Beach Hotel, Bali Emerald Villa and others.

Nusa Dua There are mostly 5* hotels and villas and is considered an expensive location. Nusa Dua is surfers’ destination, too, due to the waves that appear there. In Nusa Dua there is Grand Hyatt Bali, Bali Hilton and other intercontinental brands.

Ubud The town of Ubud, in the uplands of Bali, Indonesia, is known as a center for traditional crafts and dance. The surrounding Ubud District’s rainforest and terraced rice paddies, dotted with Hindu temples and shrines, are among Bali’s most iconic landscapes. Ancient holy sites include the Tirta Empul temple complex, intricately carved Goa Gajah (“Elephant Cave”) and Gunung Kawi with its rock-cut shrines.Ubud has both gadget home stays and luxurious resorts, like the Four Seasons Ubud. The villas are found mostly outside Ubud. Moreover here you can find many important museums.

Jimbaran has the most beautiful beach, where you can do all kind of water sports and activities, like diving and snorkeling. Located south of Ngurah Rai International Airport, the beach has seafood restaurants and luxury hotels, including the five-star Kayumanis Private Estate & Spa, Intercontinental Hotel Bali, AYANA Resort and Spa Bali, Four Seasons and Jimbaran Puri Bali and the casual dining restaurant Cuca. Tourism in Jimbaran has increased rapidly so that it has boosted the local economy. Diners select the live seafood that they wish to eat, and it is immediately prepared, generally grilled over a fire of coconut husks rather than charcoal. It is administered under Kuta South District along with Nusa Dua peninsula.
